11 - 9 - 19  Photographed Jahmal today in midtown studio, in available light which was perfect and highlighted Jahmal's well-toned body and skin.  Is a professional dancer, actor and male/female performer, very skilled and highly professional.  Easy to photograph and moved perfectly while my camera focused on all the positions.  It was great to hear suggestions that resulted in stunning photographs, as you can see. 

11 - 6 - 19  Photographed Shaun today in midtown.  He's 22 years of ago, mature for his age and
 lives in Brooklyn.  He's comfortable and cool with his body and is in super shape, looking handsome. This was the first time being photographed by a female in the nude and is game for another photo shoot.  Respectful guy, asked me questions about myself, interested in hearing about me and how long I've been photographed.  He's into the arts, so was very understanding of my lifetime mission of photographing in my specialization of erotica, sexuality and gender, all positively.  He was pleased to be part of this series and was very accommodating.

5 - 3 - 19  Photographed Andre, he's 24 yrs. of age, today in his Bronx apartment.  Took the subway to Burnside Avenue, then walked a few blocks to his place.  He's into music and his community, helps a lot of people in the neighborhood.  A hip, creative guy. cool dude.

5 - 1 - 19  Photographed Jay today in his Bronx apartment, who is 41 yrs. of age. Took the subway to 149th St. & Third Avenue, then a bus, a long ways away, but well worth the trip to photograph him, since he is heavier than other guys I have been photographing.  I like to see the difference in body types and show that we are all beautiful and special, the inside is more important that our other shells.  He is very comfortable in his skin and has done nude hot yoga with lots of other people around.  He has been heavier and now is a vegan, has completely cut out meat and lost lots of weight.
Saw workout equipment in his place that shows he is on the road to losing more.  Positive outlook in life and looked forward to having this as an experience that he wanted to check off.  Wonderful guy, enjoyed meeting him, talking to him on the phone and of course, photographing him.

4 - 20 - 19  Photographed Chris in his friend's place on West 57th St. in available light.  He's from
Long Island, he's in his early 30's, cool and creative.  He showed me a pair of his jeans which had an unique look going on.  His jeans had beads, rips and men's tie's woven thru the fabric, looked great.
He's obviously very creative and loves the camera.  An aspiring model and this is how I met him last week.  While he was being photographed in the theatre district, I walked over and asked if I could
photograph him, which I did and mentioned my current series on The Black Male Nude and future photo book.  He'll definitely be on one of the pages.

2 - 19 - 19  Went to Jersey City to photograph Dustin, who is in his early 30's and is in great shape, looking fabulous.  He works out and it shows on his sleek frame very well, since he is 6' 2".  He works as a model and walked in lots of shows during Fashion Week in NYC.  Very open-minded, very comfortable being nude and followed all my directions.  When he took a shower, I did same photos with the shower water, flowing off his body.  We then went into his living area, where I did available light photos with his white shirt on and other poses.  His black hat photos made he look fierce and proud.  Very polite, very nice and a pleasure to have taken these photographs of him.

1 - 15 - 19  Photographed Mike today in the West Village, near Washington Square Park.  A smart, articulate, cultured college student who is still enjoying his holiday break.  He mentioned to me that
he's now starting to get bored and looking forward to his new semester to begin soon  He's from the South and loves NYC and all it has to offer.  Open-minded, cool guy and enjoyable to photograph.  A good listener, since I kept talking to him about all of what was happening, when I was his age and experiencing it all, too.  Miss those days!
