5 - 17 - 15  Photographed Denzel outdoors today in midtown, NYC.  He's 22 yrs. of age, lives in Brooklyn and was cool about doing outside.  We met in Grand Central Station and saw that he was a
good-looking guy and in great physical shape.  We talked as we walked to the space that I knew about and found him to be articulate, creative and with a "good head on his shoulders", mature for his age.  He never was photographed outdoors in the nude and trusted me completely, since I did not want him to get into any trouble.  He did not object to the outdoor space that was locked and had a metal fence to keep people out.  I climbed over the low railing and so did he.  The light was subtle and beautiful, I pulled a few plant leaves from a planter and incorporated them into a photograph with him holdingthem over his penis.  Easy guy to photograph, easy guy overall, really a pleasure.

 

4 - 25 - 15  Photographed Ande in his East Village, NYC apartment.  He's single, 32 years of age and a spiritual, gentle guy.  Soft spoken and caring, who is into writing.  I told him to pursue his dream of doing so and to get going on his passion.  He suggested that I do his photos in the shower and like the results very much.  The available light was perfect and made the water sparkle as it showered down on his body.

4 - 11 - 15  Went to Staten Island today to photograph Jesse, age 78 years.  Very cool guy, open-minded, is a naturalist, loves being naked and wanted to be photographed outdoors.   He knew of a park that would be isolated, so we headed to it and did his photographs.  He is into wearing kilts and when he started removing it, I asked "do you have any underwear on" and of course, he replied "no."
So, he obviously is in the right frame of mind about doing nude photography, what a guy!  Had a super time with him, being outdoors and a beautiful day, photographing a beautiful man.

3 - 21 - 15  I approached Leroux on Fifth Avenue and asked if I could photograph him and he agreed.
Very happy when he did, since he is super cool, super cute, creative, into photography and 28 years of age.  He's an upcoming photographer and enjoyed being on the other side of the camera.  Loved his dreads and very easy to photograph, since his body seemed to flow in  available light.  He's focused and has his mind-set on moving forward as a photographer, which I know he will accomplish.  Great guy!

2 - 28 - 15  I approached John on Fifth Ave., NYC when I noticed how cool he looked.  He was wearing black leather pants and looked totally "hot".  He was kind to give me some of his time and allowed me to snap a few pixs of him and said that I would email him those photos, which I did, along with a mention of my new series and future photo book on the Black Nude Male.  I was happy when he responded and agreed.  So, I went to a Brooklyn apartment, where I photographed him in the bedroom, with drenching sunlight coming thru the window.  He looked fabulous, as you can see in his photos.  He's 32 yrs. of age, single and is a trainor in a gym and it shows with all the definition that he has, muscles and taunt skin, looking super great.

2 - 19 - 15  Went to Chris's apartment on the upper Westside of NYC to do his photo shoot.  He's single and 39 years of age, looks much younger, since he is in great shape.  He previously emailed me a few photos of himself and knew immediately that he would be cool to photograph.  He has a shaven head and a very chiseled body and has been in many bodybuilding competitions.  I noticed a few of his trophies in the living room.  Photographed him in natural light that fell on his body and enhanced all his muscles to maximum.  He was easy to photograph and included his cat in a few photos, adding a soft touch.  Was a pleasure to do the photo shoot.

2 - 7 - 15  Photographed Razz in a midtown hotel.  He's in his 50's, looks much younger, super nice guy and very respectful.  He was in the city to photograph a boy/girl erotic photo shoot and wanted to be part of my newest photographic series on African-American men and provided me with his time. He wanted to see what it is like to be on the other side of the coin, which is always good to experience.  Enjoyable to photograph and very accomodating.
